Isuzu FA Trophy draw update...

The Seasiders have been drawn at HOME to Enfield in the Second Qualifying Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy

Enfield (not to be confused with Enfield Town) are familiar figures having been members of the Isthmian North Division last season when playing at their temporary home of Bishops Stortford. A move to ground share at Hertford Town saw them switch laterally to the Southern League Division One Central in the Summer.

The E's defeated Biggleswade in the First Qualifying Round on Saturday and are currently in 11th place with 7 points from their opening 4 league games.

The Seasiders, of course, progressed to this stage thanks to a 4-2 win over divisional rivals Basildon United.

In the Isthmian North last season, the Seasiders were 5-1 victors at home (Harrison with a hatty...) and nervy 2-1 winners away from home towards the business end of the campaign.

The winners of the Second Qualifying Round tie pick up £2250, on top of the £1500 banked in the First Qualifying round. The losers lick their wounds for another year and collect £575 consolation prize money.

If level after 90 minutes, the tie will be decided on the day with penalties.
